Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup White Mountain Yogurt
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  1. Preheat oven to 325 °F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and honey until completely mixed.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in mashed bananas, yogurt, and vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7.  Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for ~65–75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean (you might want to check at around 60 minutes).
  9. Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
